Flying an Airbus in Europe

Today I had the opportunity to interview Steve a pilot for a major European airline who flies Airbus A318, A319, A320 and A321's.
We talked about the challenges he has faced undertaking his training, then qualification and his ongoing certification; what his favourite airport was, and the challenges for airspace in an ever congested environment. The interview will appear on The AirplaneGeeks Podcast soon, look out for them, particularly if you are looking for a career as a commercial pilot.
You can follow Steve on Twitter @Thermalhound. His tweets from all over Europe give an appreciation of the pressures on pilots, the long hours and the waits at the gate for ATC clearance.
