Popham Revisited

Two years on we return to Popham Airfield in Hampshire in the UK. A beautiful setting but challenging times as we find out from Dick Richardson who runs the airfield.

We ask Dick what effect the dreadful UK summer weather has had on business and how the nearby Olympics No Fly zone has impacted flying in the region.

Dick shares his thoughts about the future of the aerodrome and also tells us his ideas for keeping the business going.

Whether you live near Popham or another local airfield, here in the UK or anywhere else in the world, its clear they need your support, so please go and visit your local airfield, have a coffee, burger or take a flight. General aviation needs all of our support, whether you are an enthusiast or work in the industry.

Without these small airfields we would have no aviation industry. Please show your support.
