The UK SDR is now well understood and the impact being well felt across all of the UK armed forces. The RAF, Fleet Air Arm and Army have all had to make drastic reductions in spend on aircraft and supporting functions over the past six months.

Some of these cuts were expected and could be accounted for but some were unexpected and have had a major impact on the UK's air power, air support and surveillance capabilities.

In this weeks Across The Pond segment of the Airplane Geeks podcast we talk to Tim Robinson, Editor of the Royal Aeronautical Society's Aerospace International magazine about the impact of the defence review and how the UK is coping with the new battle front in Libya.

Hear Tim's views on what our capability has been reduced to and where its hurting the most.
